It's time for a new Color Challenge! Mary is hosting this week and she has chosen the yummy color combination of Rich Razzleberry, Mango Melody and Granite Gray, with a dessert option to add designer series paper.
I was so happy to get a mix of Copic markers that were remarkably similar to the SU colors, plus I also added those similar to SU neutrals Mossy Meadow and brown. Originally the leaves on the front flower were gray but it looked odd against the leaves of the other floral image, so I covered them with the green color. I added gray with a layered panel in the background.
The panel directly behind the flowers was ink blended with Mango Melody, then splattered with plain water and some mixed with Perfect Pearls to add some sparkle.
Thanks for looking and I hope you'll join us for the Color Challenge this week!

That splattered background is marvellous! I really love the interest it adds behind your superbly coloured flowers! I really like how you carried on the dot motif to the scalloped border and the circular element. A beautiful eye-catching bit of summer in the gallery!
