This will be for two challenges....Karen gave us some rich colors today...soft suede, berry burst, pool party. The teapotters destination this week is Bobbie'sgirl. Carol could use a cheering up. Lisa asked us to use a recycled item on our card. We will start with the recycled item....using Bristol paper did some coloring, and didn't like it. Turned it over and ran it though the printer for a new image on the other side. When coloring on Bristol, you do not need a large amt of water like water color paper. Lesson learned. Colored with the reinkers, embossed and sponged. My hummingbirds have left for the season....they are not real colorful like some hummers. This one looks more like the ones in my yard. Going to miss them...love to watch them. TFL

I think your hummers at down here! I've got three that are making me work to keep the feeder full. Your coloring on your card is so gorgeous and the colors do look like the hummers I have right now! I have a similar stamp and think I will have to try these colors on it1

Linda, your coloring is so realistic, it's truly amazing. A large part of that for me is that you colored the hummer as you see it in your environment, and your rendering is gorgeous! Love how you colored the trumpet vine and the wonderful vintage feel from the sponging around the edge of the card. Carol will love this, no doubt!

Oh my, Linda, this is gorgeous! What rich colors and wonderful coloring (well, spectacular coloring really). And I love the vintage feel with the sponging and that great embossing folder. It's a lovely one for the opposite corners. Your hummer is so beautiful with the wings that are so dimensional. Stunning flowers and an exquisite card, sweet friend! You are amazing! Hugs and love! xoxo
