I think I've finally discovered a photo paper that works will with DOX inks. Alas for my pile of unsuitable HP, this is good Ilford Satin which I bought for making calendars. The background is multiple layers, which I then stamped with the Prickles stamp in Peacock Feathers DOX before wiping all the oxidation off. The bird and mushroom were stamped on light watercolour paper and fussy-cut after colouring with Inktense pencils. I added Stickles and Glossy Accents to the toadstools. The two grass borders were cut from bits from my scrap box - metallic watercoloured tissue and probably a cling-wrap background. I added a sentiment (thank you, Cheryl) and edged it with a Sharpie and a fine black pen.

This is a piece of art. The colors are fantastic and there is so much interest in the background but it doesn't distract the eye from the focal image. Awesome job. LOVE it!!

Sabrina, I cannot tell you how often I have seen this and get distracted and forget to comment on it. It's a gorgeous card, and I love your composition and amazing coloring! It's so sweet, and what a wonderful way to use this perfect sentiment! Yes, the greatest of these is certainly love -- His love for us especially! This is so beautiful, and you are so gifted! Sending hugs and lots of love, my friend! xoxo
