Wendy gave us a challenge to use craft paper. Love the effect you get from using different mediums with this neutral color paper. Using white acrylic paint and the inks colored this digi. Added shading effects with intense pencils. Gave it some texture with the embossing folder. Added details with a micron pen. TFL

Hello there Linda......So nice to see that you are making cards again. I've been stalking your gallery looking to see if you are creating card time this summer. I've been busy myself and not getting as much time in my studio as I would like. Here and there I try to slip some time in because I am in a happy place when I do. Thanks so much for your comment on my card today. You are so nice.
This card you made is pretty interesting. It is just beautiful and a Power Poppy image to make it even more special. Your card is "dreamy" and is so calming to look at. I could stare at it for quite some time. I have yet to color on kraft paper but will try it in the near future after seeing your wonderful card creation. Thanks again for taking the time to leave a note on my card.

OH my word!!! Your painting on this card totally blows me away!!! How I wish you could do a video tutorial, I would love to see how such artistry is created step by step. What kind of white acrylic paint did you use? Then distress oxide inks, then the inktense pencils and white gel pen adds details? I am at a loss to comment except to say that I am mesmerized, totally mesmerized. Thank you so much for sharing this, it's going into my favorites. If it was possible to request a video tutorial on this art, I'd choose this piece to see how it's made from start to finish. All I can say is WOW!!!!!!! Another question, did you emboss the paper first? I'm assuming you did and that likely the embossing doesn't carry into the painting but perhaps it does... Took another look, and I can see that the embossing does go into the area that you painted, still wondering if you embossed first or painted first? Thanks, sorry for all of the questions. I guess that I have a very inquiring mind plus I know much less than I'd like...
Blessings and best wishes, and please consider doing a YouTube tutorial or some sort of video tutorial, please?! I have never made a request like this regarding any other card I have seen on SCS...

Bestill my heart Linda, this is so incredibly gorgeous it should be hanging in an art gallery. I am truly mesmerized by this image and how beautifully it is painted. I am so inspired by your artwork my friend. ~Karen.
