It's my turn to issue the Inspiration Challenge this week. I picked out a site I think will be a good one, Hayneedle, with no problem finding inspiration.
I stamped and embossed the image, then colored the poppies with Tim Holtz picket fence distress marker. That is a white ink. Afterwards, I brushed on my background in Tea Dye ink. When it dried, I stamped my text and the other flowers.
Hope you will come along and play this week. I can't wait to see your creations.

Love your card and your background ... beautiful card Brenda. I loved the site you picked for today ... very much enjoyed perusing while I drank my morning brew.

The background with the text and the distress inks is gorgeous! - a fitting ground for these lovely flowers! I'll have to look for that white distress marker.

What a lovely rendition of your inspiration from Hayneedle. I have to confess that I'm loving your lots more, because it is so much more rich in color. Love the golden yellow watercolored bg with script stamping constrasting to those lovely white poppies! BEAUTIFUL!
