I used the Eclipse Technique on my son's Father's Day card. I used five cardstock layers on my letters, including the patterned paper. It fits five challenges:
#1. Technique Spotlight: Two-Tier Eclipse Technique - October 2017.
#2. Alphabet Challenge - DD9ABC17Q - 6/13/18 - Color Letter Q = Quartz Gray + Bonus = Quilt. I used a quartz gray toned patterned paper and if the puffy letters count for quilting, then I have the bonus.
#3. Free for All - F4A433 - Happy Father's Day. . .make a Father's Day card or a masculine card.
#5. USEIT2018 - ongoing - use old stuff gathering dust or use new, never used items. All of the patterned paper on my card is really old, plus I used brand new letter dies that have been waiting to be used for over six months!
Ingredients: SU Cardstocks: Basic Black, Whisper White. Patterned Papers: Three Bugs in a Rub/ Tool Time; K&Co. stripe; DCWV/ Limoncello Stack (gray mosaic). SU Dies: Large Letters Framelits. Punch: EK Victorian Medium Photo Corners (inside). Technique: Eclipse. Computer sentiment/ verse--Shelley font. Pinking Shears. Size: 5" x 6".

Such a sweet Father's Day card! Love the eclipsed word, and those hammers are so much fun--great patterned papers!

Carlene, this eclipse card is spectacular!! I am sure that your son loved it as much as we do :-) The colors are striking and I absolutely love the letters with the tools - thanks again for sharing and inspiring all of us! Hugs and I hope you have a blessed week!
