Carey has a very fun and interesting sketch for us today. It took me a few tries to get the papers lined up. I sewed each panel and added a couple butterflies. I'll add a sentiment later.
Thanks for the fun sketch!!

This is so lovely!!! I am amazed at how all of the pieces are so evenly put together. I love the zig-zag stitching! Beautiful!!! I love this color palate, it so fresh with the citrus colors. Those stunning etherial butterflies are just the perfect touch!!! Gorgeous!!!
I have been doing some hand-stitching on some cards, I started looking for something as a gift for my Mom who is a master cross-stitcher and found there are some stitching templates in dies--first by Paper Smooches in rectangular form and later in a square and circle (both of these have holes further apart), and now by also Altenew (they have two different sizes in terms of how far apart are the holes) and MFT has a similar rectangle die but also a tag die, a scalloped tag die, and most recently a bookmark die. I was introduced to the Paper Smooches die and learned a few basic stitches watching Jennifer McGuire's video on hand-stitching on cards. I purchased the Paper Smooches die that day online and I had some DMC embroidery floss all ready to play with. I had watched my Mom cross-stitch, so I knew a little but really not much. I have had a lot of fun playing and hope to do a lot more--it's very relaxing.
