As usual I am inspired by the colors on our site today, especially in this image here.
I used the smooshing technique on acetate for the first time and loved the results (thanks to inspiration from the CAS mix-up Challenge). I found that it worked best for me if I just put some dots of ink in multiple places on the foil, smooshed, and then repeated this till I liked the results. I had to hold the acetate against a white bg to actually see how it looked and to decide when I was satisfied. As this dried I die cut my stitched opening from a piece of cs the same size as my card front and my flower branches, stamped sentiment and then attached all to the card front. Love how shiny the acetate looks but of course you can't see this in the photo.

Gorgeous card Maura! Love the bright and spring-like colours of your alcohol ink background on acetate. The white die-cut flowers are the perfect accent along with the white frame. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx
