CAS470 = celebrating Grand Canyon being made a National Park on this day in 1919. (mountains, deserts, colors, or the Grand Canyon itself)
I did a little sketch and watercolored it. Memories of staying on the South Rim at El Tovar and seeing the colors change from dawn to dusk in the Canyon.

Gorgeous depiction of the Grand Canyon, Sallie! You've captured it so beautifully! We've been there twice...it's so breath-taking! First time, Mike and I hiked 3 miles down; it was another story getting back up, but we were quite young back then.

I love how you wrote...I did a little sketch and watercoloured it. That is like saying, g'day my name is Leo and I baddle with paint....two gross understatements!! Sallie this is jaw dropping incredible. Thank goodness for Favs of the Week. Wow this is wonderful.
