For my Inspiration Challenge at Needlepoint.com, I was inspired by this wonderful scene: https://needlepoint.com/media/catalo...m/-/m-1600.jpg I found my inspiration under canvases and other animals. So many beautiful pieces of all kinds for inspiration.
I started my card by rubbing my Tim Holtz Distress Ink mimi pad in chipped sapphire over my complete panel to make it a night scene. I die cut the trees and a couple of the snowflakes. The other two snowflakes were punches. I stamped my buck's head on a piece of cardstock, colored with Copics and cut out with scissors. I only had the head for the buck so I just cut out a piece of cardstock for the body and colored it. I did the same thing for the scarf. I used a roll of paper I found at Hobby Lobby for the scarf. The last thing I did was splattering snow over the scene.
Hope you'll join in the challenge. I would love to see what you create.

Brenda, you did a fantastic job of creating a card around your beautiful inspiration piece! I love the buck's head with gorgeous eyes and that you created the remainder of his body! The chipped sapphire background is great with the trees, snowflakes, and snow. Lastly, I love the scarf about the buck's neck! Great piece of art, Brenda!!
