I made this card for 2 challenges. The Teapot Tuesday challenge in which Pat asked us to use sewing on a card. I am stretching it a bit with the sewing because my "sewing" is the faux piercing on the dies. I actually made another card for this challenge that had sewing on it, but I accidentally made it a birthday card so this is my 2nd attempt, and then I forgot about the sewing (sigh). When I was done with this card I could see all the X's in the DSP so I am also entering this card into the Alphabet Challenge for the letter X. My photography skills leave a lot to be desired because these hollyhocks are much bolder in real life and show more contrast between the colors too. My grandmother always grew the most gorgeous hollyhocks so when I found this already colored image in my stash pile, I knew I was going to use this for Aunt Betty's card. Thank you for looking today. ~Karen.

Your card is sure to touch Betty's heart, as she loves flowers so much and goes to great lengths to have a small garden outside her kitchen door to admire. Was so kind of you to send this off to Aunt Betty!!God bless!
