Because I was in a Christmas mojo mood, I wanted to do a Christmas card, and I wanted to use a Memory Box Flowering Christmas Tree die that I've had for over a year. I have some beautiful recycled Christmas wrapping paper that my Mom wrapped my gift in last year, and I thought this die and that recycled glitzy gift wrap might really make a pretty card together.
In the process of deciding on what to do with my recycled gift wrap and my Christmas Flower Tree, I found I could fit five of Splitcoaststampers' challenges:
#1 - CC17SEP - the 2017 Christmas Challenge for September: use a Christmas tree on your card.
#2 - SCSCCMay17 - May 2017 Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge...make a card with a Christmas tree or parts of a tree, i.e., wreath, pine garland, etc.
#3 - DD8ABC5E Alphabet Challenge: Letter "E" for Elegant/ double challenge: Letter "V" for Vellum or Victorian. Mine would be Victorian, of course.
#4 - F4A402 - Free for All..."Did You Say the Kitchen Sink?"...make a card with lots of "stuff"...layers, embellishments...extra challenge: add ribbon. This is my second entry, but it fits my style to a "T" and I've added ribbon on this one!
#5 - "Use It" challenge sponsored by Julie Gearinger, which requires using unused or forgotten stamps, dies, etc. My Memory Box Flowering Christmas Tree die has gone unused for over a year. I think it's time to give it a whirl!

Wow! Carlene, what a gorgeous card, and I LOVE the wrapping paper...how cool to recycle this beauty in a card. And I love the die you used (I have a lot of NBUS around and need to get them out...haha!). Truly it's a stunning card, and I love how you've finished it with the beautiful gems and luscious ribbon! Hugs!
