The poppies image came from a larger Penny Black stamp. After I stamped it, I cut it apart to separate out the separate flowers and leaves....then watercolored them. I had stamped the butterfly directly on the main panel and did the "fan" shading. Parts of the butterfly were outline cut so that I could tuck the flowers behind it.

Wowzers! Sallie, this card is stunningly beautiful. I love the gorgeous colouring of the flowers and the beautiful butterfly. So cleverly done with tucking the flowers behind the butterfly. I love the sponged rays too.

The flowers tucked in under the butterfly really add dimension to the card without adding a lot of thickness! Beautiful design and coloring, as always!
