A Happy Hello to a new-to-me-technique, where have you been all my stamping life! Ha! Seriously, if you ever lose your mojo I would totally recommend checking out a tutorial (SCS has a treasure trove of techniques in the "Tutorials" thread) and use a technique you haven't tried before or used in a long time. My mojo has been fine but even so, playing with this new to me technique added a little zip to my day! Course maybe I am weird that way, I also love to cook a recipe for the first time. I might never cook it again but that first time I get a buzz! Ok, so I am totally off topic now!
For my card, I followed Carey's fabulous sketch, SC641 and tried out the Layered Batik Resist technique. For the technique, I am sneak peeking yummy Clearsnap Colorbox Petal Point inks!
This card also fits this month's Fan Club theme of Backgrounds. This technique has a fun twist when creating the background. Your first stamping will be in the foreground and with each new stamped layer they will appear further in the background!
Thanks for taking a look!

Thanks for dropping by my gallery to say hello, Angie! This batik resist is truly stunning and I love the tiny peek of pink in it! I was having troubles uploading and gave up, but now I am transitioning and my stamp stuff is packed up for a bit. Hopefully, in the next couple of months, I'll get to play again
