This is for the Free4All challenge today to make a Valentine card. I threw out several attempts before I hit on what kind of a man my DH is, and then I knew what to do. We met a year ago at an estate sale, got married, and have been working together at them ever since. We love junk, uh, trash to treasures, and we have a marvelous time being silly about it. I found the saying online, attributed to Rose Franklin, and typed it on my rusty old typewriter (purchased at an estate sale, of course.) Some stamped chair images, some brass charms, and a bit of old twine, and here is my Valentines Day card for my sweet man. I hope you enjoy the fun! TFL

What a wonderful card you made your husband and one with a lot of thought that included things you both like. I love it.
Thank you, for joining us for the challenge.

Kandie, this is just the coolest. I am sure your DH will love this. After all, from your descriptions, he seems to have a real sense of humour. I love your old brick wall and all the antique items.

this is wonderful, Kandie! Thank goodness you have your own Ed and aren't sending love notes to MY Ed, lol. Love all the vintage images & you make me wish I hadn't gotten rid of my old typewriter.

Aw, I love your story of how you met and how much fun you have working with your DH! The card should be perfect for him. He will love you even more for making it especially for him!
