Two sleeps to go...how exciting or how exhausting LOL. This is for Robin's fun 'Free For All" challenge.
In the days leading up to Christmas I always find myself cleaning out cupboards in search of the bowls and plates that only see the light of day during Christmas. While I am doing this, I always find something that I lost.
That little story is the inspiration for my card, let's face it, Rudolph only needs his red nose on Christmas Eve. Thankfully Henrietta found it!!
I have a big stash of the grey backgrounds I have been doing lately with black Dylusions Ink Spray and ironing spray starch. This piece was a bit bald looking so I smacked a blue distress ink pad onto al foil, squirted on water, then dunked the panel in it.
This card is a real Splitcoastie community effort. The dies are RAK's from Robin and Helen, the white gel pen from Jody and Henrietta looks good thanks to a tip by Carla - use a fine foam brush and black distress ink to fill in her light bits.
Thank you all for another wonderful year. I wish you all a Merry Christmas. Stay safe and keep warm / cool, the forecast for Christmas Day here is 38C / 100F.

Susie...I love all your Delightful little trips to fairydom. Now we know where Rudolph spends his off-season. It's a good thing Henrietta found his nose. There's little time left and he still has the long trip to the North Pole. I hope fairies are exempt from freezing because it does appear that Henrietta may just freeze her little.....twinkly wings...off.
But maybe I'm wrong and this isn't fairydom. She must actually be at the North Pole. My clue was the penguin. "Why would a penguin be in fairydom?" I asked myself. If she plans on visiting there more often she really should invest in a good toasty parka (I'm sure she can find one somewhere that is made with twinkly wing slots in the back!) and a furry hat with the big earflaps and tall fur lined boots for when she prances through some deep snow. Although decked out with such accoutrements she will probably be flying a little lower to the ground and will have to plan her route accordingly. She really should do a little research on areas she plans on flitting off to. Well, it's a lesson learned.
Love your Amazing bg and the silhouettes against all the Beautiful glitz!!!
100 degrees in Australia! That's obscene! It's 32 degrees here right now and it's feeling balmy after we bottomed out so far at 12 below zero a few nights back. Have a Tremendous holiday season!
