WT612 challenge: Hans Christian Anderson-Fairy Tales
My image doesn't look like a fairy tale image but my card was created for the tale, The Bird of Popular Song.
Earth was wearing a snowy garment until the birds came singing and lifting hearts and souls. A thrush and other birds were mentioned but I have this pretty cardinal I decided to use.
For the Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge for December, Stacy has chosen the theme-Animal Love--use creatures, critters, or fur balls.
I used masking fluid on my card, let dry, and sponged. After that, I stamped the trees at the bottom and then turned my tree stamp unside down and made three leaves at the top. I rubbed off the masking fluid which made a wintry snow. Added the bird and branch.

Oh, Brenda, this is GORGEOUS! I love the soft background and how you've stamped the trees (in two directions - genius), and the white branch with the cardinal work so beautifully! Stunning and delicate, sweet friend! Hugs and love! xoxo

Come again . . . how did you do this? I need to take some lessons from you on all your textures and effects. Love the bright cardinal standing out in the snowy scene. Great job Benz!
