hi there,
This is my card for the CC today using the wonderful colour combo Mary has given us.
The leaves prints on my card are made from real maple leaves. I rubbed my Distress in onto my non-stick pad, sprayed with water and pressed the backside of the leaves into the wet ink. I placed them onto my paper and using a scrap piece of paper, pressed them to make an impression on my paper. I then took a wet paintbrush and using some Distress stain, painted around the leaves making a watery bkg. Stamped and embossed the sentiment.
thanks for looking,

What a gorgeous fall card Karen! I am shocked that you got such a great impression when using real leaves for the leaves on this card. Wow! And I love this wonderful green water color background too. The sentiment is one of my all-time favorites and works so perfectly with this card. ~Karen M.

Beautiful, Karen! Love your w/c bg & the impressions made w/ the real maple leaves. Now that we've had a bit of cooler weather, I need to go see if some of my maples have turned colors yet.
