The great artist, Karen Barber, is hosting today's Color Challenge, CC599. The colors she chose are SU Blushing Bride, Soft Sky, and Wild Wasabi! These are beautiful colors together, Karen!! For dessert, Karen chose a touch of glitter. Thanks, Karen!
I guess "a touch of glitter" got lost in my mind when making this card, as I have a lot of glitter on it!! Glitter is on the hills of snow, snowman's hat, and puppy's hat!
To make the card, I first sponged Soft Sky ink and a touch of Blushing Bride ink on the sky area. I cut out all of dies cuts from Solar White and SU card stock of the selected colors. I covered the hills with Crystal Tinsel Glitter to represent snow. After attaching the three trees at the top of one of the hills, I placed foam tape on the snow hills and attached them to the main panel.
The snowman and his puppy were assembled and attached to the front panel. I used a Cottage Cutz die to cut out the sentiment; however, I cut it apart so it would fit on the card front. I used SU Blushing Bride for the card base.
Thanks for viewing and leaving comments!!

I normally lean towards the traditional colors for Christmas - but this one I have to say is really pretty!! I love the way you did this card; and I am sure whoever gets it will love it as well!!

What a festive winter scene, Beverly. I would never have thought to use pink and blue for the sky, and it looks so terrific . All the sparkles are terrific. What an adorable snowman image.
