Hello all, Well yes, I totally cased Kittie747!! I just LOVE her beach scenes. I tried the paste and glitter today for my shoreline and I like it...i should have done it in the water too but I chickened out! This is a Bendi Frame so there is a lot of dimension and layers of sand/toys, etc. My sky was sponged over torn paper towel to get the clouds and even though I did them fairly dark, they don't show up well!!! Grrr! I need to get braver! There is a lighthouse on the right side that unfortunately got mostly covered by the frame...I decided on the Bendi Frame AFTER I sketched and stamped my scene. Oh well, you get the idea. The stamps are from DRS Designs and the dies are I.O., Memory Box, Joy and ODBD.
Thanks for looking!

What a scene you've set, Robin. I daresay that 'sand castle' would compete with the new Geico ad, doesn't that one just crack you up? This makes me want to dig my toes into the sand. love the lil' sentiment too.

This is just fantastic. I love all the details and the amazing 3D look you achieved. The palm trees and different size seaguls really add to the dimensional feel. The sand sure turned out great. Wish I was sitting there.....my stairs look a little like your sandy beach since Georgia the german shepherd just chewed up a jumbo size roll of toilet paper. So glad I didn't spend money on expensive dog toys.
