It's been forever hasn't it?! I was finally able to get to my art desk in what has seemed ages to do a little no line watercolor. I'm sorry I wasn't able to play along with any challenges with this card, maybe next time.
I wanted to share a tip with you that has worked for me. It's from Kristina Werner. Have you ever felt intimidated staring at that white piece of watercolor paper? Try giving the paper a light watercolor wash before stamping.
I gave this piece a light wash, let it dry and then stamped my piece with some Rangers Distress Ink (a light color). Let it dry and then come back with whatever watercolor medium you prefer. I used Derwent Inktense Pencils with this. Some use these pencils by coloring in small circles (less is more). I did that but also took the color right from the tip of the pencil. These pencils are amazing and their property really is intense, so practice a little if you haven't used them before. Thank you so much for your visit. And if you're interested you can find this card on my new blog, Sincerely Susie http://slessard.blogspot.com/2016/06...new-again.html
Sincerely,
Susie ~
