Aly brought us a great sketch challenge today. Thanks Aly.
What originally started out as a card 18" x 24" ended up becoming a less than A2 card. How the heck that happened I'll never know. It just happened.
My sweet friend and prayer partner, Eager Beaver (aka Ellen) sent me this gorgeous, and I do mean gorgeous, paper from MoJo Paper. It's the kind of paper you don't ever want to cut into, but it seemed only fitting for today's challenge.
It's a gold filament paper laid over cork board. Needless to say, it was difficult for my 15 year old Fiskars cutting board to cut a straight line. Hence, it got smaller and smaller by the minute.
I soldiered onward thinking I won't stop until it fits into an envelope. Once it fit an envelope, I used another RAK paper from Anne Dodd, the gold gmund. From my own stash, I pulled gold mirror paper.
I don't have any small images I could use on a circle, so I went with the smallest one I had from Great Impressions, also a gift from DebbieZ.
So that's my story for today. Many thanks to all the ladies that have gifted me with such lovely things I used for this card.
Have a great evening.

What a lovely asian style. The round circles remind me of the japanese flag or liek the pretty girl walking into the sunset. Such lovely textures. I bet she was fun to color. so many colors could go. they have such gorgeous colors they wear...worked wonderfully with the sketch...TFS..:0)

Just stunning, Anne. Whenever I have a few minutes I go to your gallery knowing that I will hit the jackpot. The combination of your beautifully colored image with those wonderful papers make this a knock out card. As always, I wish I had a wall size version to hang.

Wow! The paper and texture is amazing! I really like the sketch (I am sure I missed this one and will have to catch up) and the pretty neutral colors. The image is a good choice too. TFS!
