I made this card for the CAS challenge. In looking for a technique to do awhile back I came upon Stencil Monoprints by Lee-Ann (Shadow's Mom) that I had not tried, so I did that for my background. Added the sentiment thanks to my MISTI - stamped at least 5 times to get that rich peacock. Cut my butterfly with the orange cardstock in the matting, then coloured with Martha Stewart Glitter Markers in a bright pink. Added sequins and a crystal to finish. Thanks for having a look - come on over and join us for the CAS challenge today.

Kia,
Beautiful bg, such a wonderful combination of colors! Thank goodness for the MISTI so you could achieve such a crisp and dark sentiment over the top! Wonderful presentation of color!!

Kia, this is absolutely and completely beautiful! This background is so beautiful with the lovely colors that really look great together, and I love the stencil design! I actually have this one and could do it too, so thanks for the inspiration! I think this would be a really great idea for when I want a sentiment to be the focus point too (or a great word die). Fabulous, my friend! Hugs!

This is definitely worthy of being placed in the week's favorites this week, Kia. It's gorgeous. So stunning and dramatic with those colors. Love Lee-Anne's technique. You did an amazing job with it.
