I love the look of Prismacolor pencils on toned card stock..usually I'll pick kraft but since one of the colors is gray, I used it instead. After putting the lighthouse in my Misti, I stamped it w/ Memento, colored w/ Prismas, then overstamped w/ Versafine. Actually, no black pencils were used on the lighthouse..just very dark grays, lt grays & white. I finished off the scene by adding the water & seagulls then added a white mat on top. The greeting had to be split to fit the vertical pennant.
This will be going to my dad & since he was in the Air Force, I hope he doesn't think I moved him to the Navy w/ this nautical theme, lol.

Very sweet nautical scene! I just love nautical cards; my DH was in the navy almost 27 years, and we always lived on a coast. I think your dad will love this just because it was hand made by his precious daughter~

There are definitely a few folks on SCS who really draw lighthouses really well! I have only been in SCS a few months and am impressed with the nautical work here. Great job!
