USEIT2016 - I really need to use my old stamp sets that I fell in love with when I bought them. I have used parts of this set from 2002 SU In The Sky but not all and I finally inked them all for this card.
I used a glossy white and dropped gold and purple alcohol ink on the paper and then added drops of blending solution and dried with my heat gun. I continued adding bits of the colors and solution until I liked the BG and it looked like the night sky. I then stamped the 4 images with versamark and used silver emboss powder. Then I cut them up and mounted. Added additional punched stars on dimensionals and stamped the sentiment.
Thank you for looking!

That background is mesmerizing! Such a great idea to emboss the images on top of it like that. It's gorgeous. I'm so glad I have this set so I can attempt to CASE it. I know I'll totally fail at making a background like that, but maybe I can improvise with the right DSP ... TFS!

Love the alcohol ink backgrounds - they are so deep and rich in color. Such a great technique - I am going to find my alcohol inks and give this a try.
