Well, once again, I've been MIA, and last week was a tough one. I started a new medication that really threw me (but I've stopped it for now). So we all push on, right? This weekend I managed to color up the newest Instant Garden digi that is available today, and I even got to use some designer paper (yes, we often don't use much anymore, do we?). But it seemed to fit this image that was inspired by folk art and crewel embroidery. So I used the DP as my color palette and started to color. The hardest part was measuring up all the pieces and the matting, and it ended up being an odd card size. But I will make a special envelope for this one. It does remind me of some of my mom's cross-stitch work and a couple of things I embroidered years ago. I think she would have liked it.
Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you have a great week! Stop by my blog for more details. Hugs!

Well... after commenting twice on your card, Magnolia Sunshine, *hahaha* (I told ya I was a hot mess!) let me try to get it right tonight (she laughs).
When I first saw this card, what struck me was the wonderful pairing of the designer paper. That my friend is no easy thing to do. But, you've mastered it beautifully and what a compliment it is to your lovely coloring - wow! Another very pretty card.
