The inspirsation site for today is "Uncommon Goods". This small dish caught my eye with its lovely colors.
Jennifer(mother's daughter) had sent me some unique synthetic paper(Yupo). It is very slick which causes alcohol inks used with a blender solution to move in very intriguing ways. For the highlights, I lifted out some of the ink with a tissue. The center was done with Copics and fine marker. It is the only part that was "drawn"...the petals are just how the inks moved with a little help. : )

WOW!!! Fabulous!! I bet you were real happy with the way that turned out. It is really gorgeous. It reminds me of some huge floral pieces that I saw in a gallery a while back.
