F4A302 = use wrapping paper. I used a copper foil paper as the back panel.....nothing fancy or creative.
MIX149 =Jump Start. I used this technique presented by Dina as well as her excellent tutorial for this week.
Side note: So there's no confusion: Some of the pine needles were done with watered down white acrylic paint. On the ornament itself, the highlights are the white of the watercolor paper(a true watercolor technique)....nothing was added to make the highlight(like paint). ; )

The bg foil is fab.......but not near as gorgeous as your water colored ornament. You just overwhelm me!!

Well, I haven't seen the MIX challenge yet (had to care for our sick grand daughter today) but you surely have created an amazing card today - just extraordinary!

FABULOUS! This is amazing. Your water-coloring is amazing. Thanks for mentioning about the white highlights truly being uncolored watercolor paper. That's interesting. It makes your artwork even more amazing! The wrapping paper as the background is an excellent choice. Great, great job on this card. It's not mundane by any stretch! TFS

Sallie, this is WAY over the top of the best of the best! Geez, if you would ever do a video, the net would be overloaded with people trying to view it! The white in the pine needles, brilliant! Your are definitely a true artist!

You are so incredibly talented. We are lucky you choose to share her so prolifically. This is stunning. I just watched a long video on youtube with a gal Watercoloring a piece of mistletoe toe and some white berries. I saw the patience and care she took with her color mixing , textured strokes, and the way she did the highlights like you and Dina did.... Just leave the paper untouched. That video gives me even more appreciation for your technique, this is so beautiful, I don't have words.
