At first, I wasnÂ’t sure these colors would work at all for a Christmas card, so I chose to use this beautiful new Bridge scene but make it snowy w/ sunset behind it & add a Christmas greeting.
I stamped it w/ Memento on a lt kraft card stock then colored it in using Prismacolor pencils. I also added some bright white highlights w/ a white gel pen then I stamped over it (it was still in my Misti) w/ Versafine to bring all the details back.
Then I spritzed it w/ a spray I made using whitewash acrylic paint thinned w/ water (about a 3 to 1, water to paint, ratio). Just a note hereÂ…IÂ’ve had this mix in a little mini mister for about a year & it still hasnÂ’t clogged, so IÂ’m happy w/ my self made snow spray.
The die cut frames were added along w/ the greeting & some die cut branches & pinecones.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups & the inside are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Amazing card, Julie!! I love how the gel pen and snow spray looks against the colors....looks like an oil painting with lots of paint layers! Beautiful!!
