I wanted to make it a bit more colorful than the original, but yet keep the textures. So I grabbed a piece of chipboard and glued a die cut shape to it. Next I wrapped the board with Aluminum Foil from my kitchen. I used a brayer and my stylus to impress the foil around the hidden die cut, then alcohol inks and copic makers to color it. I decided to destress the mat (I was thinking brown paper bag-LOL)! Finally, I choose a clipboard word for the sentiment! It was WAY more fun than I expected!
Won't you join us and get creative with mixed media too?!
Hugs,
Audrie

This is gorgeous Audrie. I love the inspiration site you chose as I've never done a mixed media card so it was great inspiration. Your card is so pretty with the foil and the colors.
