For this week's resist technique and summer treats CAS challenges, using last week's colors (sans dessert).
Blackberries grow wild around here. They're a thorny, fast growing invasive species; however, late summer they produce wonderful berries. Childhood memories: picking gallons of berries to make jam or cobblers, even to can and send to my aunt's San Diego restaurant for authentic Oregon blackberry pie.
Lesson: Blessings from weeds.
The resist is a cheat. I've had the glossy flourishes paper in my stash for ages! Time to use it.

Your beautiful card has brought back some wonderful memories! I remember picking with my sister and my large dark coloured dog bursting through the canes scaring the death out of her. She thought it was a bear. :-) Your background is amazing - love the whole card!
