Isn't it wonderful that we are having a happy, happy teaparty for our dear sweet friend Kathleen, or as I love to say, Miss Kathleen Lammie for Alabama!!!
I can't imagine what Kathleen, Paul and their family have been through. It was with heavy hearts that the Teapotters sent "thinking of you" cards to Kathleen in April 2014....now it with great happiness and fanfare that we welcome her home.
Here we have four eager Teapotters on a road trip to Alabama!! Maudie was in such a hurry that she had a little accident with the razor blade. They all stopped at the hairdressers on the way and had a few red highlights put in, in honour of their special friend Miss Kathleen Lammie!!
The usual smack & squirt technique was done here and everything was coloured with distress inks. The chassis was overdone a bit and I shouldn't have used the micron pen until everything was dry grrrr, but time is moving on and I want to get this in the mail pronto.
The balloons were made with one of the first punches I ever bought and the bakers twine was a RAK from Kathleen about 4 years ago!!
I will post this in a USA business size envelope, they are bigger than the Aussie DL envelopes so the green balloon will be fine.
Thank you for looking.
P.S. Since I added the organ donor slogan to my SCS signature line I have received many lovely messages from ladies here at SCS sharing their donor stories and many messages saying they have discussed it with their families. I think the message is important so I am going to keep the slogan. I can't imagine a more generous gift from one family to another. xx

Oh this is a awesome card Susie! The brilliant colors and those happy women made me just want to join them for the joy ride! The background image is just incredible! LOVE! By the way, thanks for stopping by my gallery and liking my Teddy Bears Picnic. Sorry for the late response. Being a newbie, my sweet talented blogging world friend CherylQuitls is helping me navigate around here. I'm so glad she's part of the DD alumni.

Susie, these ladies are so much fun! Good thing they have finished all their meals with lots of dessert, otherwise this little VW convertible might be lifted right into the air by those big balloons. A very cool card!
