This card is for the Mojo Monday challenge for this week and Karen's colour challenge.
I had this idea when I saw the sketch on Mojo Monday and was really hoping the colour challenge would have some pink and grey or similar because that is what I had pictured. Thanks so much for a wonderful choice of colours Karen.
I was thrilled to see the colours Karen has chosen and I was even able to use green legitimately.
The card took about three hours to do but was quite straight forward.
I used the Belleek method of dry embossing inking up the embossing folder with Basic Grey using my brayer. Before I did this I stamped the greeting then over stamped with clear embossing powder and also cut the circle out with the large Spellbinders circle . nesty so that it wouldn't compromise the embossing.
I stamped the image directly to the card base and coloured it with copic. I sponged round the image with Basic grey. I also stamped the image twice more and then coloured sections of the image to layer the image as in tole work to give it dimension. Finally I added some Copic Spica pen to the stamens.
Links to some Belleek techniques below.
Thanks for looking
Cheers

This is a gorgeous card!! I love the dimension you added to the flowers, it just added life to this beautifully colored card. The wood grain is a nice element too.
