This is a card for my friend Nina's birthday! It is also a REALLY REALLY late card made for Joan's "Down Under" challenge (TLC519). I was so inspired by the many creative ways people used this challenge that I got this idea in my head. No...this is not it. Somehow when I tried to execute THAT idea...it didn't work. Oh well...I improvised! The Swiss Dot embossed panel came about when I put the original panel down crooked and tried to move it and thoroughly messed up the panel....hmmmmm what to do? I know! Cover it up....The Make a Wish (Penny Black) changed colors so many time it has uh...5 layers! The last layer being an offset pink and green to match my flowers/leaves which are the smallest one from the IO small rolled flower set. The tiny tiny leaves are from my Punch Bunch punch. The swirly flourishes are Marianne Design. The EF behind the main panel is from Embossalicious. And of course the lattice work is Spellbinder. Oh and I used my Rounded Square dies to cut out that panel. (which I used my dimensionals under.) I also used the stickles on the roses and EACH individual Swiss Dot! I couldn't capture the twinkle in the photo...:-(
Thank you so much for coming by to take a peek!

Peggy your card is so elegant and classy. I love all the layers and texture on this card and the very dainty flowers are such a perfect touch. I admire so many of your cards and sure hope I can take in their beauty and some day create something similar. Thank you for sharing your beauties with us to admire. Hugs!
Peggy this is gorgeous! I love love those tiny roses and the cutout in the center. Then the embossing along with everything gives so much texture. Love this card.

Wow, Peggy, so glad I checked the gallery before posting my favs. Thisvis gorgeous and is going right into this weeks favs. I love the subtle touches of color. Your tiney roses are beautiful.
Stunning!!!! Oh my, those tiny leaves. I am not sure my fingers would be able to work with something so small! I love the "down under" technique and want to try one out myself. I love that you used a delicate die cut for your sentiment. Beautiful!
