Here is my card, Peace on Earth, for this weeks MIX98 Holiday Spritz Challenge hosted by Jeanne.
Now I am just going to own this straight up. I am splatter challenged - yes, ma'am! But I continue to try. I'm a little like Elaine from the Seinfeld series. I splatter like she dances (she laughs).
I have another confession: I'm so far behind on Christmas cards it's pathetic! So today I've told myself I'll try to get some done for the immediate family. And, what better way than to play in the MIX98 challenge?! Don't you love Marcella Hawley's illustrations? I've loved them since I began stamping. I thought I'd pull out my Copics to color up that beautiful poinsettia. For our Holiday Spritz I added Ranger Perfect Pearls Powder mixed with water and gave it my best shot, err, I mean splatter (giggle).
Thank you to those who have written me to ask if everything is okay, I appreciate your thoughtfulness. I'm just fine. I needed a little break, and I have been doing a little re-organization. A little spring cleaning before spring. I'm already loving the way I've cataloged and packaged my stamps for storage (thanks to the talented and VERY organized Jennifer McGuire). Her system really works for me.
Thank you Jeanne for hosting this week. I'm so glad I could play along. And to all who stop by for a visit, thank you so much.
Have a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa. And, may you blessed beyond measure with health and happiness in the new year.
Sending Christmas Hugs and Love to all

Oh, sweet Susie! It's wonderful to see this card in your gallery! I LOVE it and agree with everyone above! Your coloring is truly stellar, along with your amazing splatters!! And this is a gorgeous image, and I also LOVE everything that Marcella Hawley draws - she is amazing! And you do them justice! I am so glad to see you make a card, and I too am SO FAR behind myself and doing the same thing (making very few cards for close family). And I am slowing making progress too with lots more work to be done on reorganizing. This has been a very busy (and blessed) year for both of us, and I wish you and Vance a very blessed and special Christmas, along with all your precious family (especially Teddy)! Tender hugs, sweet friend!

Magnificent coloring, Susie, and your splatter doesn't look challenged in the least. I enjoy organizing my stamp room almost as much as I enjoy stamping. It sure would be easier if all my stamps were the same size. When you've got LOTS of wood block stamps it is a chore to store them! Have a lovely Christmas!
