A big congrats to Sara, the newest Featured Stamper! She has a lovely gallery and I chose THIS to case. I kept the car theme and layout, but used different images, added the dry embossing and made mine a Christmas card.
After coloring the truck with Copics, I stamped & fussy cut an extra wreath to add on top. The greeting was stamped underneath & I added some dimensional sparkly snow on the ground & stickles on the wreath.
The two patterns of designer paper are actually one double sided piece I die cut using a curved border then flipped one side over. The cobalt blue layer was embossed using a snowflake frame then I used a white chalk marker to go over the raised areas. The snowflake was stamped with the blue ink & fussy cut.
Congrats again, Sara! Closeups & the colors of Copics are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Julie, I absolutely love your card! Your coloring is just fabulous, and I love how you turned it into a Christmas card! Another thing that's so fun about it is that I work at a body shop and we're restoring a truck similar to the one on your card (I just work in the office though. No touching of any cars for me. lol). Your card just makes me smile. I have to say your "case" of my card is SO much better!
