I masked the moon and sponged the sky, then used a reverse mask to lightly sponge in a little softer color ink and stamp the bird in (MIX68: motise masking).
Masking the sky, I used the direct to paper technique, swiping the ink pad straight across the paper, to achieve the water effect...I love how that leaves lots of gaps that look like ripples.
After stamping the birds & the jetty (F4A - a recent purchase) and the greeting, I used a distress marker to darken water areas around the jetty and a white gel pen to add highlights.

I think the white highlights around the jetty are just the perfect, detail touch. They were so natural, I didn't see them until you pointed them out. I find it hard to mat brayered cards. Your layout is perfect.
