A card for today's Mixability Challenge, to create a mist with brayer and paint, and the Free for All Challenge, to use hexagons. I used gold metallic paint and a brayer to create a misty bg, but then I went and added so many other layers, it's hard to see in my photo! However, there's a fine gold shimmery mist in the bg, and IRL this whole card shimmers and sparkles. I pressed the French Script bg stamp into the gold paint while it was spread out after brayering and stamped lightly to add to the card base. I was deciding which stencil to go for, then saw today's Free for All challenge was about hexagons - decision made, used a chicken wire/hexagon stencil in the corners. Then used embossing paste and a leaf spray stencil for another layer. I added some sequins, a double layered vellum butterfly and a little "nest" of gold cord.
