Becky gave us some much-needed warm colors this week, a wonderful antidote to the seemingly endless winter. I also used the monthly member gallery theme to honor my amazing friend Holly. She was recently named employee of the year!
Stamped the Clematis & Butterfly in Memento Espresso Truffle and colored with Copics. Die-cut, using the Out of the Box technique. Using Becca Feeken's tutorial Inked the Border with Rocket Red: http://www.amazingpapergrace.com/per...ered-die-cuts/ nb - If you plan to use it, practice this technique several times on scrap paper - it takes a few times to master!
Masked the image. Inked the HA stamp in Desert Sand and Rich Cocoa, stamped the BG and sponged with Desert Sand in the die. Ran the horizontal panel through a CB EF then added the May Arts trim and hemp twine. Layered the panels (subbed Summer Sun for the Daffodil) and die cuts, popping the focal point on dimensionals. Added the sentiment and Copic-colored pearls for a girly finish. (dessert!). PT - 3
Thanks Becky and Lydia for the wonderful challenges and to Becca for the gorgeous technique. Thank you all for looking and have a peaceful day.
