Today's CAS and Technique challenges came together well for me with the thought of "Deck the Halls" as my music inspiration. I had a different burlap idea in mind, but like the way the wrapped burlap looked and then kind of went from there. I punched a 1 3/4" circle then used the 2 1/2" circle punch to punch around the punched out circle. I then cut a long narrow strip of burlap and wrapped it around the wreath form I'd created. I made a fork bow and attached it. I used a Versamarker to ink up just the "deck the halls" then embossed in white. I then inked the "fa la la la la" and did the same. I punched my curly label then sponged a bit of Whisper White ink around. I punched my leaves and cut them into pieces. I used the point of a pin to pick up a dot of glue then picked up the tiny "berries" with that. After I'd adorned my sentiment, I decided to add "holly" to the wreath as well. I dry embossed the base in the Stripes ef.
