Hello friends,
This is actually the river that feeds Lake Wobegone!! This is the first property that Donald wants to buy but guess what??? The lovely older couple who lives here has always dreamed of retiring in their log cabin by the river and WILL NOT sale. They love watching the Loons on the lake and all the other wildlife that is always roaming by. They love the wildflowers that grow every where as well (BTW, in this town where the women are all strong, the men good looking, and the children are all above average...the flowers always bloom too!!!). ((Ok judging by the comments I haven't fooled anyone with my "Loon" but it's sorta close, right?))
Thanks for dropping by, come in for tea any time!!

Oh, Robin, this is beautiful, and I love your story! You are such fun and a delight! How wonderful that you used for two challenges! Definitely deserve to retire in a lovely place like this! Hugs, sweet friend! (And, yes, lots of patience with adding those pearls!!)

Hey - I'm in charge of looney this week, and if you say that it's a loon, that's good enough for me....giggle! Your card is beautiful (love me my Flourishes too!) - so beautifully colored. This is a great sketch, so I'm glad that you did double duty. Your texture-and-pearls BG is simply gorgeous....and your story just rocks!! Grab all of those cookies that you can - you know we cleaned that barn before we baked! Thanks for coming to Peggy's Teaparty, Hugz from NJ.
