I'm combining my sample for today's Masked Fun WT challenge (masks - images with masks, using masks or stencils, using masking techniques) with this week's sketch and TPT Tuesday challenges.
Teapotters to the rescue again - thanks to Anne I had the perfect image for a fancy dress party. I'm not sure if I personally would choose to go as Harlequin, but it's a story I love. And I do play the flute - so maybe it is actually me in disguise ;-).
I masked the base to sponge the two stencils - reverse chicken wire and trellis. The RAK image was coloured with H2Os and sponged with a TH mask in the foreground.
I stamped over the whole base with Linen in Old Paper, and then added some sponging with gold luster rub-ons and more Old Paper. I found some buttons to pick up on the colours I'd used and stitched them to a strip of burlap to fit with the rotated sketch.

Just got done with trick and treaters, was not good night for them as soooo windy and rainy. Really cute and so colorful. Love your image and look how smart you are to play the flute, sweet card!

This is a perfect card for both challenges, Sabrina! I love the Harlequin, and think it's perfect for a costume! I love how you worked in the masking and the buttons that add a touch of whimsy!

I went the other way, sign up for my # and then make the card. That was the only way I could be sure to get motivated. As you know I love this Judikins stamp. I can't think of a better use for it than a masquerade ball. The colours you chose are perfect, it reminds me of our trip to Venice last month.
