My daughter and I experimented with spray paint art last weekend, and I thought that would be a fun interpretation of the Mix-Ability challenge for the week... we mostly learned from watching street art videos on Youtube. It's quite addicting, and it didn't take too long to get the hang of it.
We didn't have the white posterboard that most street artists seem to work with, so we were working on glossy cereal boxes and magazine pages. The white is sort of helpful, because there are techniques using magazine pages to remove layers of paint so that the white shows through... instead of white highlights on our scenes, the colors from our Rice Krispies boxes show through... but it was fun, and we were together and learned a lot in the process. WIN!

Dini, both my husband and I have read every word from your blog post and your post here on SCS. We are both just struck by the beauty and talent displayed on this piece as well as the piece for 9/11. Absolutely amazing mixed-media work. Thank you for sharing your artistic gift with all of us.

Of course, incredible! Husband saw this and said to me, "Well, your cards just suck after that." Nice.
