This is one of the cards I made as a sample for today's WT, to use hardware.
I used the Bendi Fold tutorial, and was largely inspired by Hilda's (Broom) wonderful card HERE.
I'd cut the pieces for a bendi-card to try making one for a special friend a couple of weeks back, but I had to get her card in the mail the next day and really didn't have time to play around getting used to the format. So the pieces, cut from Cryogen White, were sitting at hand when I was trying to come up with an idea for DH's birthday. Since he was away from home, I wanted a fun card for him.
I used Cryogen White for the base.
Lighthouse from Light of the World, sea scene isThe Mighty Sea, ODBD, and the boat is Loads of Love.
Masking, sky sponged, sea coloured with H2Os.
Front panels coloured with H2Os, touches of Stickles. Boat stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with Squeezed Lemonade and Soot Black, eyelets for windows, Glossy Accents on top windows. The gift-wrapped present in the dinghy is just a rectangle of card tied with twine, and I also used twine to attach the dinghy to the boat.

Sabrina, this is so clever and creative. I love your boat and lighthouse scene. The bendi fold really takes our dimensional cards and kicks it up another notch. I tried my hand at my first bendi card this past weekend. It wasn't easy for me but I really enjoyed the process.
your card is very pretty too! when I saw Hilda's nautical theme, I thought it was very original...very nice both cards
thanks for watching my video
