This is my card for this weeks cc424 challenge. Vicki is our hostess and she wants us to use primrose petals, calypso coral and white. Our dessert option is to add lace.
I started my card this week by choosing my stamp set because I knew I was going to highlight one color and use the other as an accent. The set is SU’s “field flowers”.
I stamped in primrose petals and used pear pizzazz for the stems. I fussy cut one of the flowers and popped up for some dimentsion.
After looking through my dsp, I decided to use primrose petals as my main color. The dsp is from SU’s “more amore” collection.
My layout is this weekÂ’s Sweet Sunday sketch #183. My scalloped layer is in primrose petals and I used a MS scalloped edge punch. I added some May Arts white lace and SU primrose petals ribbon to complete my card.
I stamped the sentiment (stamp unknown) in calypso coral and added 5 circles punched in calypso coral to complete my card. I am giving this to a friend of mine who just completed her bachelors degree after putting 2 kids through college.

Beautifully composed! Your layering of edging and trim is perfect with those flowers!
