Congratulations to Pam MacKay, this week's Queen for the Day. This is my version of Pam's Snowy Night. Instead of brayering my sky, I sponged it after splattering some masking fluid to give the impression of snow falling. Did a lot of masking for the snow drifts, then cut out and popped up the trees in the front. Today's Ways to Use It challenge was to use your favorite things. One of my most favorite things is all of the distress inks from Ranger/Tim Holtz. I love the way you can sponge and blend the colors together. That is what I did for the sky.
Enjoy your reign as Queen, Pam!

Your blending of the colors is wonderful, and the splattering of the snow looks so real! I just love it, Lois!

Amazing Lois - absolutely beautiful with the big chunky snowflakes, wonderfully sponged sky and beautiful trees. I remember those big snowy chunks from my years in Chicago - wonderful memory ! Hugs.
