Happy Monday everyone. Fall is definetly in the air today. I love this time of year. Here is my card for today's CAS challenge - Harvest and for the Technique challenge given by Judy acrylic block collage This technique was fun and easy to do. I used really rust, pumpkin pie and adirondack ginger to ink up my 3 x 3 acrylic block. Spritzed with water and stamped onto water colour paper. Masked around the square. Stamped on a script backgrounder and several leaves and the lazy susan flowers. Next I removed the mask and stamped on the black weed image with memento black ink and then clear embossed it. I accidently got some extra black ink at the bottom of the weed - that is why my sentiment is layered overtop. But I like how it turned out. Attached sentiment with mini black brads. Layered image panel with really rust and black card stock. Sewed around edges.
This card also works for this months Fan club theme: CENTRAL THEME: Fall to Pieces - For many, this is a favorite season - the vivid colors in the environment, those fun sweaters and boots, football games and a pumpkin spice latte by the fire. We are inspired by all things autumnal this month, so fall to pieces with your favorite fall colors, images and techniques.
Thanks for looking, have a wonderful day.
Hugs...Pat
