Here is my card for Eula, celebrating HER on her 110th birthday. She will be 110 years old on 9/14. What a milestone! The Teapotters have sent her cards for her 108th and 109th birthdays, and now for her 110th. We hope to celebrate with her for many more years to come. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET EULA!
RIBBON: My vintage seam binding is old but not dirty. The lighting of the scan doesn't show the true color which actually compliments the card quite nicely. Speaking of scan vs photograph ...
NEW MONITOR: I am glad I got a new monitor BUT I am not glad that my printer will not communicate with it when I put my picture disk in it! Until I can get that 'fixed' (hopefully this weekend), I have no other option but to scan my cards. Scanning is fine on cards that have no embellishments but when it is raised off the flat platform by the bulk of ribbon, buttons, rhinestones, etc., it often makes blurry or distorted images. I.E., "dirty" ribbon! Heehee! I can't wait for it to be fixed!
PTI HEXAGON DIE TIP: Everytime I have used my PTI hexagon die, I have painstakingly, individually placed every single hexagon and every outside edge piece. Sigh. Recently, on Nichole's blog, she showed cards made with their new diamond cutting plate, whereon she just used a solid color frame over a piece of printed paper (or vice-versa.) It looked good so I tried it on Eula's card. It was much easier and I think, looks pretty dang good. I'll use the black pieces on a card that I use multiple colors of hexagons/outside edge pieces. It's a win-win cause nothing goes to waste. So glad I saw this on Nichole's blog.
Stamps: Hampton Arts Solo from Mike's $1 bin (neat stamp, huh?), PTI (inside + envelope)
Paper: PTI white base, Walmart black c.s., PTI patterned paper, misc. white (tag + MFT fishtale stax inside)
Ink: SU, Memories, PTI (inside)
Accessories: PTI die + white rustic twine, MFT dies, vintage seam binding, ? stickers (tag), scor-tape, tombo glue, SU sponges
THANKS MUCH FOR LOOKING! Your time is valuable and I soooo appreciate your comments!

Gabby, this is such a fantastic birthday card for Eula! Those haxagons in black are so dramatic and cool! I LOVE the very pretty background paper you used! So wonderful of you to include the vintage seam binding! Fabulous!
