It's been so long since I uploaded that I almost forgot how! Thanks Stef for the great site this week. There was inspiration everywhere. This is the one that inspired me this week http://www.leifshop.com/collections/...gbird-doorstop . Way back in the spring while playing on the net I saw some cute birds made from pressed leaves. I can't for the life of me remember where but if you know or it is you please let me know so I can give credit where credit is due. It has been so dry here that the leaves are turning already so I was out gathering and pressing. I used a sizzix folder on confetti paper and sponged with walnut distress from Mr Holtz. I put the leaves through my zyron sticker maker and then added gem eyes. The stamp is from Stampendous and is just the right size. ALL of the above supplies were on sale at Mikes...gotta love it.

I've used leaves for owls before, but never for regular birds. These are just so tweet!!!
And here too, I can't believe the number of leaves already falling from the trees - it's way too early.
