Me thinks ye are lookin' for some buried treasure, and I have me a map of where to dig - come along, Lad - we'll be rich!! Rich, RICH!!!
Lost on this deserted island??? Join James and the teapotters as we look for buried treasure with one of the fiercest pirates to sail the Seven Seas - see James' story HERE
This first mate had me no pirate stamps, so again I resorted to clip art and a little ingenuity - I drew a treasure map after I distressed it quite a bit (you KNOW those treasure maps go through a lot!) and attached it to his "hook" that I made with some silver wire.
The Teapot party destination is for James to bring him some good pirate cheer (Yo Ho HO) as he faces some serious health problems - to use pirates because he loves them. The Sketch challenge is also 'loosely' used here - reversed around and the treasure map is not quite the right shape, but I hope it will work.
If you would like to join us at the teapot party, please use the keywords MMTPR211 - thanks for looking!

Sue, you have rocked this challenge with this Fantastic pirate card!! I love how you have attached the treasure map to the pirates hook (had to read that it was really how it looks)! I sure wouldn't want to meet up with this pirate, but no doubt that James will be thrilled!!

Wonderful story! I really enjoyed it. And your card is just as nice. The Captain's bird looks a little worried *laughing* Better find that treasure or he may be walking the plank!
